Rock the Vote is teaming up with Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz to announce Rock the Caucus—a program to help educators prepare their students for the caucus process and the 2012 elections.

As home to the first presidential caucus in the nation, Iowa has an influential role in electing the next President of the United States. For many of the state’s youngest voters, the Iowa Caucuses are the first experience they will have with voting. But many young people are unsure how to navigate the electoral process, including our own caucus system. Help your students prepare for the 2012 elections with Rock the Caucus!

Need to know how to Rock the Caucus?

We’ve put together some great resources on how this is all done. Here are some caucus related questions we’ve answered on ElectionLand:

  • When is the caucus election?
  • When are the registration deadlines?
  • What time is my party’s caucus?
  • Where is my caucus held?

You can also ask your own question!
