Indianola High School’s mock caucus was held last week and got an article in the Des Moines Register.

The students portrayed the candidates at what was billed as the nation’s largest mock caucus, where about 400 juniors and seniors vouched for their favorite candidates.

Most high school juniors and seniors will be old enough to vote in the 2008 presidential elections, and are also eligible to participate in the Iowa caucuses on Jan. 3, Young said. Any Iowan who will be 18 years old by the November general election can register and caucus.
